AngioWave FAQ’s

What is AngioWave?

AngioWave is cardiac imaging AI software with FDA 510(k) clearance that enhances fluoroscopic angiograms through advanced post-processing. It provides improved vessel visualization and integrates directly into existing Cath lab workflows.

What makes AngioWave different from other imaging enhancement tools?

Unlike conventional noise-reduction or contrast filters, AngioWave uses deep-learning–based spatiotemporal enhancement processing (STEP™) to interpret motion, structure, and time-based image data. This allows it to reveal vessel details that may not be visible on the unprocessed angiogram.

Is AngioWave compatible with all imaging systems?

AngioWaveNet was designed to be compatible with standard DICOM formatted output, regardless of imaging system vendor.

How does AngioWave integrate into daily workflow?

AngioWave processes angiographic cines automatically after acquisition, providing enhanced images almost immediately. Clinicians can review both the original and enhanced versions side by side without delaying procedures. This allows clinicians to navigate complex interventions with improved confidence and precision, even in challenging cases.

Can AngioWave be used retrospectively on stored images?

Yes. AngioWave can be applied to previously acquired angiograms to re-analyze cases with improved clarity. This is particularly valuable for research, education, and complex case review.

Does AngioWave require additional training to use?

Minimal training is required. The software is designed to be intuitive, allowing clinicians and Cath lab staff to begin using it immediately after installation and a brief orientation.

What data security measures are in place?

AngioWave has performed extensive cyber-security and system security testing. In addition, AngioWave operates within secure hospital networks and follows HIPAA-compliant standards for image handling. No patient identifying data is transmitted outside the facility.

What support is available for installation and training?

AngioWave Imaging provides full onboarding support, including installation assistance, staff training, and access to ongoing updates and clinical resources.

What is the cost or pricing model?

Pricing options include annual software licensing or subscription-based access, depending on Cath lab volume and hospital needs. Custom packages are available for early adopters and trial sites. Please reach out to get a custom quote for your lab.

What results have been observed in early use?

Clinicians have reported improved visualization of vessel structures, faster procedural decision-making, and increased confidence in navigating complex anatomy. In addition, clinicians have reported that enhanced visualization of the vascular has been useful for large patients, BMI > 40, and CTO patients. These outcomes are consistent with Angio Wave’s goal of providing sharper, safer, and smarter imaging.

Who can I contact for a demo or trial?
